Final Conference
The final project conference took place on November 15th, 2018 in Hotel ILUNION Pio XII in Madrid, Spain.
All partners together presented the work of project team and intellectual outputs of the project. One day conference had on the programme plenary sessions, as well as parallel sessions. In the parallel sessions the outputs were discussed with 60 participants and they had an opportunity to taste some of the exercises of inclusive training. At the end a moderated discussion took place about strategies to be taken in order to get as many as possible and as various as possible of future participants in the training about legal capacity and supported decision making. The program of the conference is available on the project website. The conference was translated from/to English and Spanish, sign language and the participants were handed out the outputs in easy read format. The participants were selfadvocates and their supporters from Spain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belgium, representatives from umbrella organisations and local/municipal Spanish authorities.

Experiencing some of the tools for initiating change in our approach which is necessary for providing support in decision making

Information and discussion about Handbook - a manual how to train about decision making with support. Handbook is an outcome of our project. The participants will have an opportunity to experience in smaller groups some of the exercises included in the training.

In a moderated discussion the project partners will share with you our experiences from national inclusive training programs, what challenges were related to the trainings and how we have overcome them, how the success looked like.

What is our commitment for the coming weeks and months in promoting recognition of people with disability before the law and providing support people with disability may require in exercising their legal capacity.
